Claypaky Tambora Linear 100 is a static LED pixel-mapping bar built for touring rigs, TV studios, and fixed installations that need both video-style pixel looks and high-impact strobe effects in a single, slim fixture.

Hybrid LED bar, pixel background plus dedicated strobe line

Tambora Linear 100 combines two complementary effects in one unit. The first is a system of 400 RGB pixel LEDs that creates a smooth, high-definition background appearance similar to an LED wall. This array can be controlled as 16 LEDs in 25 groups to build motion graphics, chases, and mapped content across multiple fixtures.

The second effect is a central line of 200 powerful white LEDs designed for an intense strobe look. It is also segmented into 25 controllable areas, enabling directional sweeps, segmented strobe patterns, and rhythm-based accents across a row or matrix of bars.

Layered looks, built-in effects, and fast programming

Graphic content can be managed through Advanced Layer Management (Color, Internal Shape, Pixel mapping, and Strobe), allowing you to run background pixel content and a separate strobe layer simultaneously without re-patching or reconfiguring your rig. Tambora Linear 100 also includes built-in effects, a practical option when a media server is unavailable or a quick programming workflow is required.

Rigging, modular builds, and on-camera accessories

Multiple units can be mechanically connected and then operated as one complete fixture from the control software for clean, scalable pixel surfaces. For tighter spaces, Claypaky also offers the compatible Tambora Linear 60 model for narrow environments.

A range of accessory filters is available, including frost for beam shaping and a neutral density filter to increase pixel readability, particularly useful for television applications to improve on-camera performance.
