NEW Hubbell 50A, 125/250V Twist-Lock - Male plug for building or replacing cord ends on compatible 3-pole, 4-wire grounding (3P4W) twist-lock power connections. Designed for 50A, 125/250V AC applications where a secure, locking connection helps reduce accidental disconnects.
Electrical & Wiring Details
Rated 50A and 125/250V AC with a 3-pole, 4-wire grounding wiring scheme. Terminals are identified in accordance with UL 498 (X, Y, Z, White, Green), and accept conductors from #10 AWG minimum to #6 AWG maximum for flexible field wiring.
Durable Construction for Jobsite and Industrial Use
Built with a black Supertough nylon housing and glass-reinforced PET components for the blade holder, terminal retainer, and cord clamp. Brass blades and a bronze box terminal style clamping system are paired with stainless steel hardware (terminal, cord clamp, and body holding screws) for dependable assembly and long-term service.
Cord Fit, Environmental, and Safety Ratings
Accommodates round portable service cords with a cord diameter range of 0.750 in to 1.125 in (19.1 mm to 29.2 mm), as defined by UL Standard 62 and CSA C22.2 No. 49. Rated for a minimum 2,000V dielectric withstand and certified for current interrupting at full rated current. Operating temperature range is maximum continuous 75 C and minimum -40 C (without impact). Moisture resistance is IP20, and materials include a stainless steel safety shroud, neoprene seal, and nylon seal cup with Supertough nylon latches.
