The Pathport series of DMX/RDM Ethernet Gateways are the heart of DMX distribution. The NEW Pathway PWPP Pathport Wall Mount DMX Gateway is designed for venues that need a clean, single-gang DMX connection point on the wall, then route that DMX512 data reliably over an Ethernet network to DMX512-capable devices such as intelligent lighting fixtures, LEDs, dimmers, and more.

DMX to Ethernet Distribution (and Back)

This wall-mount, 1-port gateway converts DMX512 to Ethernet protocols for distribution, and converts supported Ethernet protocols back to DMX512 for end devices. Its one configurable DMX port supports output as full universes or a custom slot-by-slot patch, helping you place only the channels you need exactly where you need them.

Protocol Support and Control Options

For integration with common lighting networks, the PWPP supports multiple DMX-over-Ethernet sending and receiving protocols, including Pathway ssACN (Secure sACN), E1.31 streaming ACN (sACN), Art-Net, Pathport Protocol, and ShowNet. You can also map up to eight control sources to each output slot, with merge and/or priority options per source, which is useful for combining multiple consoles, controllers, or playback systems.

RDM, Status Indication, and Configuration

When used with free Pathscape configuration software or ANSI E1.33 RDMnet compliant controllers, the unit can act as an E1.20 RDM controller. LED indicators provide at-a-glance confirmation of DMX status and Ethernet link activity, and user settings allow you to configure DMX output speed and signal loss behavior to match your system requirements.

Power, Mounting, and Physical Specs

Designed for an elegant, inconspicuous installation, this gateway includes an attractive single-gang faceplate and operates on Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) or an auxiliary 24-48VDC input. It is a PoE Class 1 device with a maximum power consumption of 4W. Dimensions are 1.3 in W x 4.1 in H x 2.0 in D (33 mm W x 104 mm H x 52 mm D), and weight is 0.2 lb (0.09 kg).
