NEW Pathway PWPP Pathport Portable DMX Gateway, Truss-mount, 1-Port, XLR 5-Pin Female

Pathway Pathport Portable 1-Port DMX-over-Ethernet Gateway, truss-mount, with 5-pin XLR female output, provides a compact way to place a DMX port exactly where you need it on a rig. It connects DMX512 control and distribution over an Ethernet network, sending data to DMX512-capable devices such as intelligent lighting fixtures, LEDs, and dimmers.

The Pathport series is designed to serve as the core of DMX distribution in networked lighting systems, making it easier to route DMX to fixtures across a venue without running long, dedicated DMX lines. The Portable 1-Port form factor is well suited for temporary setups, touring, and installs where a small, easily movable gateway is preferred.

Network Protocol Support

Supports common entertainment lighting Ethernet protocols for sending and receiving, including Pathway ssACN (SecuresACN), ANSI E1.31 streaming ACN (sACN), Art-Net, Pathport Protocol, and ShowNet, helping it integrate into mixed control environments.

DMX Output Configuration and Control

The single configurable DMX port can be set for whole-universe output or a custom slot-by-slot patch. You can map up to eight control sources to each output slot, with merge and/or priority options per source, which is useful when combining multiple controllers or managing priority between sources.

When used with the free Pathscape configuration software (or ANSI E1.33 RDMnet-compliant controllers), the gateway can act as an ANSI E1.20 RDM controller for compatible devices.

Hardware, Indicators, and Physical Specs

A 10 Mbps Ethernet port provides network connectivity, and onboard LEDs show DMX status and Ethernet link activity for quick troubleshooting. The user-configurable DMX output speed and signal-loss behavior help tailor performance to the needs of the connected fixtures.
