TMB 100ft Proplex 3-Pin DMX Cable, Assembled, is a durable DMX data cable built for reliable lighting control in touring, rental, and permanent-install environments where the cable needs to coil easily and hold up show after show.
Proplex series data cables are built to survive the toughest conditions, yet handle and coil well, again and again and again. They have been exhaustively developed, tested and re-tested.
Built for DMX signal integrity
The cable is engineered around an 80 Ohm characteristic impedance to support stable DMX data transmission, with low capacitance (22pf/ft cond.-to-cond., 41pf/ft cond.-to-shield) for dependable performance over longer runs. A dual-shield design combines an aluminum/mylar inner shield (100% coverage) with an 85% tinned copper braid to help reduce interference in real-world stage and venue environments.
Rugged construction for touring and install
Inside, 22 AWG (0.34 mm2) tinned, annealed copper stranded conductors (19 x 34) are paired with a Kevlar strength member to resist stretching and damage. The black UV-resistant polyurethane jacket is designed for repeated handling and outdoor exposure, and is high pressure extruded for added toughness. Insulation is rated to 200° C and 300 Volt FEP, and the cable maintains a minimum bend radius of 1.3 inches for practical routing around truss, racks, and stage edges.
